you should know....

zagliani- this line was created by an italian dermatologist that wondered what different treatments used on human skin could be applied to help exotic skins. since making SUPER supple exotic creations using silicone these bags have been popping up on celebs all over the place. classic shapes and colors, at a decent price for exotics skins make these excellent investment pieces (another way to economize). this crocodile tote is $10,500 at saks. these are a much better investment involving silicone than placing it in your chest! and yes, you can buy one for me.

every dog has his day

houndstooth has always been a personal favorite of mine, and i'm thrilled that is coming back with a vengeance. it popped up on all over the alexander mcqueen  runway, and is now all over the place. a houndstooth accessory would be a great way to adapt this trend. scarf $20 at forever 21, houndstooth vinyl woven ida $345 at kate spade, and patchwork houndstooth satchel at alexander mcqueen. buy away!

get a life peta....

Here’s what PETA Senior Vice President Dan Mathews had to say: The thought of purposely breeding and killing crocodiles for an outdated, overpriced handbag should make any fashionista’s skin crawl. If Hermes really wants to be a leader in the fashion industry, it should stop killing animals for cold-blooded vanity and use cruelty-free mock croc and fake snake instead. As Pink—who recently provided the voice of a computer-generated crocodile in PETA’s “Stolen for Fashion” commercial—says, “Killing animals for their skins is so disgusting that it doesn’t make me want to befriend designers who use them.” -purseblog

yay! more resort!

resort show season is one of my favorites, i love to see designers make fun and sporty collections for the jet set. balenciaga got really sculptural which is always a nice throw back to cristobal, but nicholas ghesquiere always knows how to jazz it up. the stiff looking suits with the feminine floral ling and blouses were adorable, and the knit leather boots were so ghesquiere. i loved the raffia versions of the classic motorcycle bag, raffia is going to make a big come back.

loves it!

i wish there was an h&m here!

really coach!?!

i promise that i will try to keep my rants about coach to a minimum, even though i think they are really gross and generic. so i've started to notice that coach is copying mbmj a lot lately, i gave two examples... however there are many more. usually a designer copies another because they want to sell at a lower and better price point, but these bags are the same price! hey coach, sorry you rang out of ideas, but don't copy my lover!

mbmj is available at neiman marcus

ooo la la lanvin!

1st. this is my first official post. i'm so glad lanvin could break my blogs cherry.

so, i just caught a peek of lanvin's new resort collection, and i'm packing my bags for mexico!! i love how alber can make such frumpy things look so chic! there was huge raffia flowers, and day glow jewlery paired with muted colored loose fitting silhouttes. the multi colored chucks had to be my favorite though, let's hope they make them in my size! see you in alcapulco!
